My Story

My love for video started because of my love for good stories. I grew up rewatching my favorite movies, retyping out scenes from scripts I loved, and I quickly moved on to cameras as a tool to tell stories. A good story grabs your attention, and I wanted to share it with whatever medium I had available.
Through the OutSet Film Mentoring Program at Outfest Film Festival, I wrote and directed my first short film, The First Date. What started as just a small project ended up being shown to festivals across the globe, and also won the Audience Award for Best Short Film at Outfest in 2012. That film opened many doors for me; it became my portfolio piece for NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I went on to write and direct another short, Moonlight, which screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2014. I graduated NYU in 2015 with a degree in Film & Television and a minor in Producing. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Manila where I started my career in commercials and branded content. Those years in advertising pushed my creativity, but I learned to tell stories that connect quickly but sticks with you.
When I moved to Las Vegas, I joined FOX5 as a Promotions Producer. The fast pace of news was where I honed my editing skills and sharpened my instincts. More importantly, it was where I first gained my connection to the city by being in a position to tell stories that actually mattered to the community.
Currently, I’m the Manager of Video Production for the Las Vegas Raiders. I get to tell stories for one of the most iconic franchises in sports. But I still approach it the same way I did when I first picked up a camera. I want to share a good story. I can produce it, shoot, write, or edit. I just love telling stories. It's really that simple!
